Pink Saturday 1-31-09

Happy Pink Saturday Ya'll! With Valentines Day coming up I did a few Valentine's spoons!

Here is my favorite one and the most appropriate one for today's Pink Saturday!

I love the Pink Rhinestones!! I also have an Easter one!

Swap!!

I have been so lucky with the swaps I have done!

The Red and Aqua Swap I did was great!

The Vintage Christmas Swap was awesome, but the

Winter Whimsy Swap I just finished was so cool!! Or warm?? hehehe!

Kimberly of Seashells and Silver was my partner and wow! This was the letter that was on top! This was what was under the letter!These are what was in the white frosted bag!

I LAUGHED OUT LOUD!!!! Since.....I sewed the buttons in a "K" on one of her sets of mittens!!

Kimberly also sewed buttons on a matching scarf

in a star on one side and a "J" on the other!

I guess great minds think alike! She also included a beautiful pine scented candle

and Ghiradelli Hot Chocolate mix with....

Peppermint flavored, STAR shaped peeps to float in the hot chocolate!

I am NOT sharing with Kyle! hehehe!

She did include some great snowflake stickers for Kyle so I don't feel to guilty!

This Whimsy banner is hanging in front of my desk! So pretty!

But the BESTEST GIFT EVER!

Remembrance and an Award!

Many people in North Carolina got sad news yesterday morning.

Kay Yow, the Women's Basketball Coach at NC State University

lost her battle with breast cancer Saturday morning.

I had the privilege of meeting this woman many times

in my volunteer work with The Jimmy V Foundation .

She will be missed! You can read her inspirational story here.

This is a bowl I have in my kitchen on a corner shelf.

The center of the flowers are PINK, but best of all the flowers are in the shape of a star.

It is one of my favorite pieces! The blue matches my walls perfectly!!

Custom Pieces!

Here are some of the reasons I was absent last week! I was working on these custom spoon necklace slides!

I really hope Carla likes them!! She asked for a Christmas one,

a Halloween one,

an Easter one

and this is a picture of her Dad!

I think they turned out wonderful, but I am biased!! hehehe! I have also been organizing and getting rid of stuff. And learning how to do the paperwork for Suzanna's.

I really have been busy! Now I am off to work on my tags for Karla's Puppy Love Tag Book!

I have needed a new phone for a while! Due to cutbacks my husbands company has stopped their company paid phone plan but let the employees keep the phones the company bought for them in the beginning.
