This weeks Pink Saturday is extra special!
We are celebrating and raising money for a special lady Colette!
You can go the http://www.katillacshack.com/ to read more about her uplifting story!
Many of you know that my mom is battling breast cancer and has been for the last 10 years. And so far so good! That is not the uplifting part! Since finding out she has cancer, mom has lost a job, married off a daughter, had a grandbaby, lost her father, moved three times, gone through my dad being laid off shortly before retirement, had another grandchild, had a daughter go through a divorce, had the same daughter get married and have another grandchild, and opened her own antiques shop, then almost died with a slipped disk in her back! AND unless you know her....you would not know she is sick! She does not let the cancer get her, she kicks cancer's butt and is an inspiration to all who know her! So go click on the Katillac Shacks link above and help other people get through this with a little something special done just for them, so they too can kick cancer's butt!

I knew I had met some amazing ladies the first time I was down there but I had no idea! You are all really special and I am honored to have met your mom and you too. Getting to know Susie and yourself is the perfect example of how blogging has been such a positive addition to my life. Sounds silly, saying that blogging has had an affect like that, but it's really true :->

Good Morning Jenny Sweetie...
Happy Pink Saturday and Miracle Weekend combined in one. Yes your sweet Moma is a blessing to me each time you write about her. She has been in my evening prayers and I have been storming the heavens in her name. She is a survivor. Please give her a hug for me and tell her she is SO loved.
Now you must pop over and leave a comment on my blog. Each comment left will earn a $1.00 from Guideposts Magazine for the next Miracle Makeover. I am sharing Colette's journey today and I would so love to have you read it. Bring your box of tissues now.
Many hugs sweetie and so much love, as always your post is awesome. Love, Sherry
Jenny, I continue to pray for your beautiful Mom! Thank you for sharing a bit of her story and her inspirational spirit!!!

I believe that it is all in the attitude. It is a hard thing to go through (my mom is a 28 year breast cancer survivor), but if you have loving family and friends it can be done. Your mom sounds like a wonderful, strong woman, good genes to pass down!!!

Happy Pink Saturday, dear Jenny. Thank you for making Pink Saturday special, and for taking part in this day of celebration and thanks.
There truly are miracles going on all around us every day. We just have to open our hearts in acceptance.
Give your mother my love, and tell her she makes us all proud. I keep you all in my prayers.
Jenny! I could have guessed that your mother would be wonderful...You know why...because she has a wonderful daughter too. Happy Pink Saturday!
Wow! What a fighter your mother is and an inspiration. Happy Pink Day.
Your mom is a great example of how this thing can be beaten!!
Happy Pink Saturday!
Hugs, Lisa
