Mom update!

This was taken right before Mom hurt her back! Thank you Mary!
Sun was a little bright, so we both look a little squinty!
Mom got her second shot today, so we are hoping this will help some more with the pain.
Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes!
They have all helped to make mom's day and mine a little brighter!
She still has a long road ahead of her; physical therapy,
relearning how to work at the shop without lifting anything...all
the things you take for granted when you have a good back.
It is driving her nuts since she is such a physical person and
cannot do anything but lay down right now. Lots of new stuff is coming into the shop though
since she is at home pricing everything she can get her hands on!! hehehe! Kyle is on Spring Break this week so I will be on and off of the blogs!
Lots of playing with my little man since I have been so busy lately!
Planing on a picnic, and lots of bike riding and LOTS of snuggling.
He will be turning 6 next month so I have to get all my snuggling
in while he still wants to hang out with me!!

You got that right! Actually, mine are fine as long as we are at home, but let me walk into the school with them and all of a sudden, they are 10 paces behind!

Hope todays shot will boost your Mom's spirits!

Great pic or your mom and you! I'm so glad she's doing better. Yeah, once you have a bad back . . . . been there . . . and still suffer from it every now and then.

Your little guy is so CUTE!!!!

Hi Jenny & Mom,

So glad to hear that mother is doing better. I had surgery on three ruptured disks in my lower back in 2005, and although I had a doctor with God syndrome (I will heal you) and his new procedure which was supposed to have a 98% success rate, didn't really work out. Thankfully, I still have some stability, but the surgery did not get rid of the pain, but in fact created more as massive arthritis set in. I hurt every single day from it, sometimes more than other days depending on the weather, so I can totally relate to your mom's situation. I hated being stuck in bed, too, but with all my surgeries on my knees added in, I've spent most of my life in bed! It's poop if you ask me. Anyway, God Bless you both, and don't forget to take some time out for yourself, too, as the caretaker can get just as worn out.

Your son is adorable, and just don't make a big deal out of the kissing/hugging thing and possibly he won't either!

Hugs,
Meri

Yes it was so good to see mom at the shop last weekend - and hopefully she's in less pain after the shot.

You are all in my thoughts......and make every moment count during Spring Break with that great little guy!

The hardest thing is to stay put when you want to move around. Glad that she is doing much better, and that the doctor visits will become fewer!

I'm sorry to hear your Mom hurt her back. I pray she recouperates quickly. What a pretty lady she is (you are, too). And your little boy is adorable! Enjoy your time with him :) Happy Pink Saturday~

Well, I had hoped to read that your mom was completely recovered. How frustrating for her and for you. I will continue my prayers for the mom of my BBFF! Cute pic even if you are a little squinty! Ha! Kyle is darling. Enjoy the rest of your Spring Break with him. Ours isn't until the first week in April here. My baby boy (18) is about to embark on his adult journey. Driving and pulling his fancy bass boat to Texas and then Louisianna and more. He will be gone for 3 months. The first time I have not speant Spring Break with him and I am sad. Enjoy every moment with your sweet boy because it flies by!

Hi Mom and Jenny...Love the photo of you two! And I sure hope Mom is doing better. I have a bad back and it stinks. Today it is really hurting. I need to do my exercises. Yep, Jenny, I think I do have a few pigs around the house (and that includes a human one). There is a long running story about pigs between my brother and I....ewwww. Will have to tell you someday if I ever see you in person. I have a gorgeous pig weather vane. He kind of sits off in a corner of the family room because I have no place to put him. xoxo
