Sorry! I promised to do a mom update for you all!
Like I said before, she is getting around amazingly well, but tires easily.
Her leg and foot are still numb due to the bulge pressing against the nerve,
which is also what is causing the pain. Yes, numb and pain both from the same thing, but the pain is really around her rear end, then the leg and foot are the numb area. Mom has NOT been sleeping well, so they did give her a new medicine for sleeping that really has seemed to help, which I would think will help her heal more in the long run too! The best/worst part is, mom has been scheduled for surgery. Best because she will have the bulge removed which will help the pain, worst because she will be out of it for 12 weeks! Yipes! At least the weather is getting nicer, we can set her up on her patio and she can get a head start on her tan!! hehehe!
Her surgery is scheduled for Good Friday, so she will be in the hospital for Easter, which is really bumming her out, but you do what you have to do right!!
Thank you for all your thoughts and well wishes! I so appreciate it!!

I will most certainly be thinking of her...especially on the day of her surgery. Thank you for keeping us informed. She is such a sweet lady! I know you and the rest of your family will pamper her and keep her happy. I would love to send something her way to enjoy while she's sitting on the patio...some cookies or something. Tell her we love her! Keep in touch!
xoxo,
Deborah
Oh i hope this will be all! How yucky to keep going back! Happy Easter in the Hospital!
Hugs and prayers, Lisa
Hi Jenny,
Thanks for the update. Do you know the name of the procedure she'll be having? I wanna' see if it's the same thing I had. Tell her to hang in there, it will get better.
Hugs,
Meri
12 weeks will fly by and then she'll be as good as new! Thank you for keeping us updated. I'll be thinking of her on Good Friday.
xxoo
oh jenny, poor mum...but in a way, let's rejoice that they can do something for her...but wow...12 weeks... poor mum....
hugs to both of you!
Oh Jenny Sweetie...
I will be thinking of your sweet Moma and saying some prayers for her. She will feel instant relief from that pain once the surgery is over, I know my DH sure did. He was dragging his leg, and the dr. didn't think he would get back usage of his leg and foot, but he did and does beautifully.
I love this post. You never fail to find the sweetest gal pics. So cute. Does sweet Moma know you were taking her picture when she was doing all these poses? I love it.
Thank you for sharing as always weetie. I am so happy Moma will be feeling better soon.
Love ya girl, Sherry
aww it is not nice being in the hospital for Easter but I am sure you will "spruce" it up a little for her! I am glad she will be feeling better soon and then come home for a big celebration! Grace xoxo
I am continuing my prayers. Thank you for the update!

Hi Jenny-
Thanks for sharing about your Mom- I will keep her in my prayers. Keep us posted...
Love the bunny girl!
Knowing mom's positive attitude about everything, it's going to be a successful surgery and quick recovery. So many of us will be pulling for her..........and we just know you'll make her 'patio recuperation room' the prettiest ever!
