Happy Pink Saturday and Memorial Day Weekend!

Happy Pink Saturday!

Kyle is almost out of preschool so they had field day this past week!

All the kids made their own tie-dyed t-shirt for the day!

And there is Pink on his but you can't see it from this angle! One of the biggest hits of the day were these sheets!

Hang some white sheets, fill up some squirt bottles with colored water and have at it!

Then there were sack races!

Then apparently there were dates being made???

She doesn't look like she is buying it.....my little Romeo!

Off to the Beach!

I am so excited!

I am off to the beach this weekend for some much needed girl time!!

Gives a whole new meaning to Pink Saturday!

Two friends from high school and I are heading down with our suits and a blender!!

WOOHOO!!

Do Not!

Do not let me near your car! Just before we left this weekend we realized my husbands truck needed an inspection. Being the good stay at home mom and wife that I am I told my husband to take my car to work and I would take his truck in for the inspection. I took it to one of those LUBE places that will do it in a JIFFY, if you get my meaning. When they pulled the truck out of the bay....BAM! They hit and dragged the truck on a pylon outside of the bay exit.

Luckily the damage was not as bad as the noise it made. I think I was crushed more than the employee. I sooooo did not want to call my husband. This truck is his baby. Luckily I got to his office before the claim adjuster called him from the shop. He came out along with about 5 of the guys from the office all making fun of me with "See! Told you not to let Jenny drive!" and such comments. Even Kyle got into it saying "Ooooooo, Daddy's gonna yell at you! hehehe!" But the claim adjuster got the worst of it saying that we had to drive around and get three different estimates to which Jason told him a few choice words that basically amounted to "NO!" Well, another $900.00 later it will be fixed and paid for by that company that shall remain nameless. And Jason forgave me!!! But I will not be driving his truck anytime soon!

Lots to cram into one post so here goes!!!

We are off to my brother in laws college graduation this weekend! He is the first from my husbands side of the family to graduate with a four year degree! We are so excited and proud! These two pictures are of my grandparents from when they graduated many years ago! They were both teachers! Actually my grandfather was a professional boy scout for 40 years! More on that later!

So, we are off for the weekend and that kid with the crazy hair from the last post gets to hang out with Nanny and Poppy! He is so excited!! During craft time Friday morning he kept asking how to spell stuff and since I was not really paying attention, just cleaning and getting ready to head out I did not notice what he was making until he handed me this! Isn't it sweet!!

He brought this home from school for me! His hand print flower!! So of course I had to use it for Pink Saturday! This little poem is the same one I gave my mom when I was little!

"Sometimes you get discouraged, Because I am so small, and always leave my fingerprints, on furniture and walls, But everyday I'm growing...I will be grown someday and all those tiny fingerprints will surely fade away, So here's a little hand print, just so you can recall. Exactly how my fingers looked when I was very small!!" This was last years present! I just love it!!!! It's hanging in my living room!

Another week GONE!!

WOW! Where does the time fly? This week has been "Spirit Week" at Kyle's school and

I got some of the cutest pictures of him on Crazy Hair day!

I have also been cleaning and organizing my craft corner!

WHY OH WHY did I START THIS?? Well, it was actually started for me! You see the faucet on the outside of the house is cracked, and how do you get to the cracked part you ask?

THROUGH my closet!!! Unless of course your husband measures wrong......and then you need to go through the wall beside the closet you just took everything out of .......arrrgggghhhhh!! So instead of showing you all the cute stuff I got a yardsales this past weekend I am sorting and tossing and organizing! I can't really be mad...it needed to be done.

I just wish I had more room, or more time or maybe...less stuff???? NAAAA!!!!! hehehe

There are so many different colors in it I tried to take the pink ones.
