Luckily the damage was not as bad as the noise it made. I think I was crushed more than the employee. I sooooo did not want to call my husband. This truck is his baby. Luckily I got to his office before the claim adjuster called him from the shop. He came out along with about 5 of the guys from the office all making fun of me with "See! Told you not to let Jenny drive!" and such comments. Even Kyle got into it saying "Ooooooo, Daddy's gonna yell at you! hehehe!" But the claim adjuster got the worst of it saying that we had to drive around and get three different estimates to which Jason told him a few choice words that basically amounted to "NO!" Well, another $900.00 later it will be fixed and paid for by that company that shall remain nameless. And Jason forgave me!!! But I will not be driving his truck anytime soon!

Oh no! At least it can be fixed, right?:-) That's totally something that would happen to me too!
Just your luck right! You barely take the truck out and boom crash bang. Your husband couldn't have been too mad at you since you weren't actually doing the driving AND you were doing him a FAVOR. Better luck next time, you have my sympathies!
Why was it your fault?? Sorry you had to go through this! You and cars are not getting along!
Hugs, Lisa
I'm sorry to hear about that. I'm thinking about visiting you gals sometime this week. Hugs, Vanessa
0h, sh-t!my husband would have had a cow, they sure love their trucks. god bless you for having to give him the news.....
Girl my husband would hace choked. But not your fault.. it happens!
Murphy's Law, right, sounds like something that would happen to me.
Geez, this was SO not your fault at all! I went to a similar "jiffy" place and they unscrewed the wrong cap and emptied my transmission fluid. (That's one way to get a free transmission fluid change!) Anyway, my mechanic says no matter how much of a hurry I'm in, he'll help me out rather than let me take my car there - and after your experience, I know he's right! Barbara
Or maybe he'll let you drive it if you dress up in that get-up in the last photo! ;o)
Aw...sad story, but I'm so happy for you that it wasn't your fault.
The photos below of your little man with his crazy hair and riding his bike are SO precious. : )
I loved that post, and the images are perfection! First of all... sorry for the truck, Jason and you! I did a similar thing last year. My husband asked me to drive the boat trailer to the boat launch. My son would be driving his $25, 000 bass boat to take out of the water. I said a confident "sure" but inside I was thinking, "freak out!, what if I do something wrong." WEll, I did! I took a sharp turn down into the boat launch too sharp. The trailer caught on the cement retaining wall and completely lifter up on it's side and came crashing down. My poor 17 year-old son was in the lake watching my horrors. It did big damage. I told my husband I can do almost anything you can do, but don't ask me to do that again. I can't take the pressure!

As far as I'm concerned, your record is clean, Jenny! However, those Jiffy Dudes...not so much! Sorry Jason!
Anna
oh man, that sucked! I bet that dude at the oil place was feeling pretty small after that. He won't be driving any big red trucks soon either. xo, suzy
Oh no! I'm with Joy...dressing in that get up will surely make him forget everything else!
Hugs,
Deanna :D
