Christmas Present!

Yup, you read that right, I have to share a Christmas Present with you.

The reason is...IT only now is ready to share.

IT came in last month, but with everything that has been going

on with mom and working at the shop so much,

Jason and I only had time to hang IT last week.

What, might you ask, is "IT"?? Here is a hint!More of an idea! A FLYING PIG CHANDELIER!!! EEEEK!!

Is it not just awesome?? I love it!

Mom Update!

Sorry! I promised to do a mom update for you all!

Like I said before, she is getting around amazingly well, but tires easily.

Her leg and foot are still numb due to the bulge pressing against the nerve,

which is also what is causing the pain. Yes, numb and pain both from the same thing, but the pain is really around her rear end, then the leg and foot are the numb area. Mom has NOT been sleeping well, so they did give her a new medicine for sleeping that really has seemed to help, which I would think will help her heal more in the long run too! The best/worst part is, mom has been scheduled for surgery. Best because she will have the bulge removed which will help the pain, worst because she will be out of it for 12 weeks! Yipes! At least the weather is getting nicer, we can set her up on her patio and she can get a head start on her tan!! hehehe!

Her surgery is scheduled for Good Friday, so she will be in the hospital for Easter,which is really bumming her out, but you do what you have to do right!!

Mom has a Dr appt this morning so I will give a Mom update tomorrow!

She is doing good but will have to have surgery! I will let you know more ASAP! Thank you so much for alllllll your thoughts and prayers!

 There has been a tummy bug going around and both Kyle and I got it this week!

I might have felt better if my bathrrom looked like this! 

But I guess I will have to make do with Pink Potty Paper!!

I hope NOONE else gets this! It has been icky but I am finally starting to feel better! Woohoo!

Happy Pink Saturday!

SO far this Spring Break week, we have carted a ton of toys off to the consignment shop.

Gotten a ton of stuff cleaned up and had some fun with our new toy...

Now if only I had a pink controller! Yes, we got a Wii at the beginning of this week! Once Jason saw that this whole week and most of next is supposed to rain, and our local art museum is closed for renovations, he got us a Wii! And let me tell you...Kyle is kicking my butt all over the place! hehehe! He was on his knees laughing at me and still got a strike on the bowling!

We also have had a craft day with one of Kyle's friends!

Who knew painting little monsters would be so much fun!

Aren't they cute!!!

Mom update!

This was taken right before Mom hurt her back! Thank you Mary!

Sun was a little bright, so we both look a little squinty!

Mom got her second shot today, so we are hoping this will help some more with the pain.

Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and well wishes!

They have all helped to make mom's day and mine a little brighter!

She still has a long road ahead of her; physical therapy,

relearning how to work at the shop without lifting anything...all

the things you take for granted when you have a good back.

It is driving her nuts since she is such a physical person and

cannot do anything but lay down right now. Lots of new stuff is coming into the shop though

since she is at home pricing everything she can get her hands on!! hehehe! Kyle is on Spring Break this week so I will be on and off of the blogs!

Lots of playing with my little man since I have been so busy lately!

Planing on a picnic, and lots of bike riding and LOTS of snuggling.

He will be turning 6 next month so I have to get all my snuggling

in while he still wants to hang out with me!!
