Mom update!

Well, mom is doing okay, not bad and not good. She is very emotional, bored, lonely; since I have to be at the shop and dad has to work, tired, scared about what the future holds, and today she is in a lot of pain. I wish there was more I could do for her, help her relax or help her heal, help her not be in pain. It is just so hard to be this useless!! I just want Mommy to be better!
We had a great Easter and she had a really great day, but I think she did too much, thus the pain on Monday. Mom's sister is coming in from Kentucky on Wednesday, so that will be a great distraction for both Mom and us! Sorry for venting! You guys have all been so great keeping my spirits up! Thank you! I love you all!! Jenny

Oh Jenny Sweetie...
That is what friends are for. I am here for you sweetie. 24/7 just send me an email and we can talk anytime. I know it must be really scary, but the surgery is over. That is the worst part. Now the pain is a healing pain sweetie.

You are doing good. She is doing good, and she is going to have good days and bad days. Your Moma's sister will be there in a couple of days and this will distract her. She won't notice the pain as much, and you know she just did to much on Easter. This will remind her not to overdo.

Rest easy sweetie. You are tired. I can hear it in your writing. I will check on you tomorrow. I am saying prayers for your Moma to heal quickly and you to get some rest sweetie. You need it. You cannot afford to get sick, then who would take care of Moma?

Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

Hi Jenny, It's good to hear she is doing good. Perhaps Mary and I could pay her a visit? Tell her I wish she feels better soon! Been thinking of her. Love, Vanessa

(((Jenny))) Recoveries have their good days and bad days. You know that. And those watching the recovery have good days and bad days, too. I think your aunt's visit will be perfect timing. Hang in there.

Hi Jenny,

Whatever she does, tell mom to follow the doctors orders to the "T." Messing with your back is serious stuff. I'm so sorry she's in pain again, but hopefully it will all be worth it if she takes care of herself and doesn't overdo it. Like I said "been there, done that." It's crappy, but we're all thinking of her and wishing her well.

Hugs,
Meri

Hey,

Talked to her earlier today. She is really excited about her sister coming. It will be nice for you and your dad to have a break. I offered services for anything she needs. If she won't call me, you can!

I know it will take time for healing. Mom is so strong and positive in her outlook, just know those better days will soon be here for her.....and all of you.

Meanwhile, you need to rest too, and having your aunt come will help a lot I'm certain.

Thinking of you dear and sending love.

Please give your mom my well wishes. Seems she is in only the beginning of her recovery. Hopefully the bad days will become less and the good days more. What part of Kentucky is your aunt from?

sweetie, that is NOT venting. Being concerned about a loved one is a very human emotion. Things will progress and get better...its just a long road. Now we have you all in our prayers :-)
