Last weekend at the beach was wonderful!

Just what I needed to get away from it all!

This had been what I was feeling like!

Now I feel like this....only maybe not while doing the laundry!! Hehehe!

Can you tell I got a whole new set of vintage images??

I may be having a little too much fun with them...but there are some on this new CD that will NEVER see the light of day on my blog! Or else we would all be turning PINK!

Swap!

I was just in a wonderful swap with Grace from Pink in the City!

It was a May Day Swap hosted by A Swap for All Seasons!

We had to make a tussy mussy and fill it with whatever we wanted!!

OH MY GOSH! I was spoiled!

There were bordello feathers sticking out of my tussy mussy and so many pin ups I was squealing like a little kid!

See that big pin up? It WAS a bar of chocolate...we ate it at the beach this weekend! A pin up magnet, some rock candy,

a flying pig ornament,

a beautiful red flower lapel pin and Wendy Addison red German glass glitter, along with so much else I can't even mention it!

And it all came in the cutest little red suitcase!

Catching up and a Mom Update!!

Wow! It has been a crazy couple of days!

Birthday parties, surprise trip to the beach, back to work...

MOM UPDATE!

Mom is doing much better. She is not a good patient, or maybe she is not good at being patient!

Mom tired me out on a daily basis before her surgery with all her energy, so now she is going crazy since she is at about 1/4 of her normal speed, and really wants to be 100%. She should still be taking it easy, but for the longest time mom had to "out think" or "overcome" her cancer, with mind over matter thinking, so she is treating her back injury the same way, even though it is two completely different battles. We are trying our hardest to keep her from doing anything that would really hurt her, but we have given up on policing her. It was just making us crazy and getting her mad at us,

so we are letting her reach her own limits. Thank you for all your well wishes!

They have been appreciated!!

It is so hard to believe he is already six!

Mom update!

Well, mom is doing okay, not bad and not good. She is very emotional, bored, lonely; since I have to be at the shop and dad has to work, tired, scared about what the future holds, and today she is in a lot of pain. I wish there was more I could do for her, help her relax or help her heal, help her not be in pain. It is just so hard to be this useless!! I just want Mommy to be better!

We had a great Easter and she had a really great day, but I think she did too much, thus the pain on Monday. Mom's sister is coming in from Kentucky on Wednesday, so that will be a great distraction for both Mom and us! Sorry for venting! You guys have all been so great keeping my spirits up! Thank you! I love you all!! Jenny
