Day 19 Pink Saturday!

hehehe!!
I could not resist! Too cute! This is from the blog The Vintage Housewife
Happy Pink Saturday!
Beverly at How Sweet the Sound is hosting Pink Saturday again this weekend!
She has asked us to share a Holiday Tradition with you!
As I told everyone in a past post, we usually open presents on Christmas Eve with one side of the family and with the other side of the family on Christmas Day!
Before we open presents with my family we always sing
"Silent Night"It is a very important song to our side of the family.
It was even sung at my Grandmother's funeral.
It was sung in German and English. Beautiful song!
Hope you all have a wonderful Pink Saturday!
Jenny

Oh, MY, how precious is that photo! I LOVE it!

What a wonderful tradition! Silent Night is my husband's favorite. Mine is the Little Drummer Boy.

Have a wonderful Pink Saturday and a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hugs,
Marsha

P.S. Can't remember if I wrote this in my previous comment, LOL

My mom made the empanadas from her heart if that makes any sense. She really didn't have a recipe. She gave me a "general" list of ingredients and she didn't have precise measurements. Hers were different than my aunts, they were sweet and so GOOD!

Thats a wonderful tradition! I love the pic..reminds me of when I was little, reaching to my dad's sock drawer to find the longest sock, then pinning it to the back of the couch...for my Christmas stocking! :D
