They grow so fast!

Kyle got this bike for Christmas last year

and was not brave enough to try it

until earlier this year. But, now that he is five

he has informed us he is big enough to

ride his bike. He ran right out,

put his helmet on and took off!!

I am going to go hide my car keys!! hehehe!

Today my little Kyle turns 5! Wow! Hard to believe this picture from his third birthday! And now he's FIVE!

We had a great party on his "pretend birthday" on Saturday!

He wanted pirates, so we had pirates! A pirate ship cake!

Good Morning Everyone! Happy Pink Saturday!

I am currently preparing for 10 to 15 four and five year olds, plus their parents,

plus all the regular family to arrive at the house for Kyle's fifth birthday party!

So if I do not make it to your blog today please forgive me!

It is going to be a pirate themed party but

NO PINK!

I guess that's what I get for being the only girl in the house besides the dog!

Tim called us today and said he wanted us all to be there this evening when he proposed!

The best part was Emily had no idea!

Tim asked Emily's son John first if he could marry his mom to which John said YES!!

Then Tim got down on one knee and asked!!

WE ARE THRILLED!

A nice man at the bar even bought them a bottle of champagne!!

Here is our egg dying evening with Nanny and Poppy!My sister and nephew joined us for a GREAT EVENING!! Everyone has their own egg! Some pinks in there somewhere!!

And here is the biggest Easter Bunny of them all! Poppy you are so silly with your pink ribbon! I think someone was excited by an early Easter present!!

Pink Saturday! 4-4-09

Since starting this blog in September I have

been amazed at the generosity of people in blog land!

I have been sent T-shirts, cards, book marks, charms and many other items!

This one took my breath away!

This card was in the package! It says

I seriously got teary eyed when I opened this, I was so excited! My pictures do not do this sparkly card and piggy justice!

Miss Doris Day even had a recent pedicure!

I really cannot say thank you enough to Miss Debbie for this wonderful gift!

Fun Day!!!

Kyle had a school field trip on Tuesday!!

We had the best time!

We headed to "Marbles Kid Museum" which is a hands on "Exploris" type museum.

Lots of stuff for the kids to do and play and learn with and about!

Kyle's favorite, other than the pirate ship, was having Daddy there with us!

Jason played hooky for the morning and came with us so Kyle was so excited!

I liked this exhibit!

A whole area dedicated to healthy food choices, including the peas and carrots ball pit!!

There was also an area where the kids could "serve" you a healthy meal. We were too busy "eating" to get any other pictures! We went on Tuesday and Kyle was still talking about it tonight at bedtime!! Guess we need to head back really QUICK!!
