Red and Aqua Swap!!

I got the first of my two Red and Aqua Swap boxes!! This box was from Sharon!!

Anyone else see those fingers trying to get my chocolate??? There was a cute little little package for Kyle though....And I think he liked it!! I got some great red and aqua buttons along with some red and aqua threads!!!

These handmade ornaments that she sells on her etsy site!

She even made the box they were in!And these beautiful potholders!

I don't remeber telling her, but I got some beautiful tins...which I collect!!These great dish towels!

And this great scarf that matches my winter coat perfectly!!

Crafts Galore!!

Wow! I have been busy! And my craft area shows it! Since my craft area is in the living room....well, I won't show that. Let's just say that I think my carpet is lego and army men colored!! hehehe!

Some of the fun thing I have been working on are these banners, thus the glitter letters on my desk from the first picture. These necklace slides and these Christmas ornaments! What is everyone else working on now?? PS Some people can be so rotten! My mom was robbed at WalMart yesterday! She was "distracted" by a question about turkeys and just turned her back for a minute and her wallet was stolen right out of her purse! When she talked to security, there was nothing they could do. She talked to the police, then went back to get her groceries and found out it had happened to another shopper just after mom had left. Arrrgghhh!!

Pink Saturday 11/22/08

Thank you to Beverly over at How Sweet the Sound for hosting "Pink Saturday" today even though she is also hosting a shower at her house!! She is one busy lady!!

Since you all already know I collect flying pigs I thought I would share

another one of the flying pig items I have.This is one of my favorite mugs! A little flying pig on a PINK cloud.There is even a little guy looking over the edge at you while drinking!!

So now I am off to drink my tea and enjoy the other pink participants!

Also I met a friend this past weekend!! Gail from Shabby Cottage Studio was in Raleigh

to attend some art classes (read about them on her blog) but she and

her friend made time to stop by the shop!!

Here we are!! And I am even in PINK!

It is so cool to be able to meet blog friends! She was the nicest lady!

I won her give away in October!! I love blog land! It is so cool to meet people you have only "talked to" online!!

Okay...boring and quirky?

1.I am 32 years old and have only had 4 jobs.

Boston Market Restaurant,O'Charlie's Restaurant, Victoria's Secret, and Tickle Imports (furniture importer---I always have to clarify that after saying I worked at Victoria's Secret..hehehe) 2.I split my head open when I was 2 and even though you are not supposed to remember things from that early I remember everything!! (that explains a lot..hehehe)

3.When I wear turquoise my eyes go turquoise, purple..they look purple, green...they look green.

4.I cannot spell worth a flying flip.(thank goodness for spell checker) I was in one of the first writing to read programs in the state that taught us to spell phonetically, so to this day, my ph's are usually f's unless I am thinking about it.

5.I was one of the first girls in our area to play baseball.

6.I love to scrapbook, but I have never made one for myself...only as gifts?? Weird huh?

In Raleigh?? In November???

Yup!! We got some white stuff today!! (looks like he is saying "nanana", he was really just blinking and catching snow on his tongue!)

It was so cool!! Or cold, hehehe.

Kyle went running, as did Sky.

I only let Kyle stay outside for a minute or two since it was

so cold and he is still getting over the sniffles.

Sky on the other hand....I might never get her in!

The giveaway was chosen on October 25th, my birthday, and I WON!! Must of been divine intervention since I LOVE stars and moons.

Well, I got my package a while ago and am just now able to share it with you!!

Not only did I get this beautiful, hadmade Halloween moon man but Debra also included some great paper crafting goodies!! And this awesome altered tag! So many goodies!! Please go check out Debra's blog! She posts lots of images that she allows you to use in your own art!! Very fun!!

By the way...even if he is Halloween??? He will be staying out ALL YEAR!!

Here is a funny Pink Saturday Picture for you!

Caught her in the middle of a sneeze!

See the little pink tongue! And the little bit of pink nose.

Siberian Husky's noses go from black during the summer when it is warm, to pink in the winter when it is cold. Sky's is just starting to turn pink now that the weather is getting colder.

Her name is Sky, for her sky blue eyes!

She is 9 years old now and really thinks she is a lap dog even though she weighs 40+ lbs!!
