Three years ago I was reading the blog of a dear friend, Mary, originally from Across the Pond, now from A Breath of Fresh Air, and her post was about some pink flowers, and something called PINK SATURDAY...the rest is history! Happy Third Birthday to Pink Saturday!

Pink Saturday!

Nope, no pink in my back yard sea of dandelions...

so I have to share my mom's pretty roses again!

I did NOT get my mother's green thumb...but as you can see I can grow weeds! LOL!

Nor did I get my mom's love of ironing.

A few weeks ago I spent almost 8 hours ironing a HUGE pile of linen's for the shop! As you can see there were a lot of PINKS!!

This is about a quarter of what I ironed, but

I am not very good at ironing either! LOL!

Not exactly pink, but it is Mother's Day weekend.

That is my dad holding me, my mom in the black shirt and an exchange student of my grandparents in yellow. I was just a few months old in this picture!

Happy Mother's Day to my Mommy...yes, I still call her Mommy and lots of people giggle when I call to her at the antique shop! Now I am Mommy to this wonderful little man!

He just turned 7 years old which is really hard to believe!
