We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with my family!!Reading of "The Night Before Christmas"!Watching and waiting for Santa!Could cousins be any cuter??Guess they don't take after Poppy!Best picture of the son in laws..hehehe!

I won't say they started drinking early.........LOL! Actually the Amaretto was an on going joke all night. They never really took a shot, they just kept messing with Nana! Got lots of goodies that I will share later and more pictures to come of Christmas Day at our house with my in laws!!

She has asked us to share a Holiday Tradition with you!

As I told everyone in a past post, we usually open presents on Christmas Eve with one side of the family and with the other side of the family on Christmas Day!

Before we open presents with my family we always sing

"Silent Night"It is a very important song to our side of the family.

It was even sung at my Grandmother's funeral.

It was sung in German and English. Beautiful song!

Miss Beverly has asked us to show and tell about our favorite Christmas decoration.

ONE?? I have to pick one?? How about one set of Christmas decorations?

Other than Flying Pigs, I collect Annalee Dolls.

My grandmother's name was Annaliese and she collected these little guys and passed some onto my mom. I have collected or been gifted some over the years as well!This is a brand new to me on this year! It is similar to one my grandmother had, that my mom now has which is one of my favorites, so when I saw him on etsy, I had to have him!This one loves to hang off my lantern!This guy is my oldest from 1963. He is ready for bed!This Santa mouse was a birthday present from my mother in law this year!This little angel mouse is so sweet! Santa and Mrs Claus greet you with candy at the front door

along with this little mouse man I got last year!This little kitty Santa was an early Christmas gift

from my sister and goes purrrrfectly with my recipe book!My little squirrel is on our landing on our shoe rack! This little elf is on our kitchen cabinet.Santa needs to warm up!!

But this little one is my FAVORITE! A FLYING PIG ANNALEE DOLL!

I really squealed (get it squealed) out loud when I saw this about five years ago. So round about way, this is my favorite Christmas decoration.

Like if the house was burning, I would make sure Kyle, Jason, Sky dog and this Flying Pig were out of the house!!
