Pumpkin Farm

What a fun day! Every school year my sons class goes to the pumpkin farm on a teacher workday! The parents all come along and everyone gets to play and laugh and get to know each other a little better! Well, not that I am biased, but my son is quite the ladies man and decided he was going to "escort" around one of the cute little girls from his class. They did everything together and I got to have a great day with her mom actually having some adult talking time!! Woohoo! See the two little cuties in action???

Kyle also hung out with the boys. Isn't this the perfect "little boy" shot?

They had a corn pit too....weird but fun!

Enjoy some more great pumpkin pictures and Happy Fall!

Pink Saturday!

Good Pink Saturday!! Please check out How Sweet the Sound for the other Pink Saturday participates! These little beauties are my birthday girls! The back one in PINK was given to me when I turned 13 by my grandparents! The bigger one on the side is a music box given to me by my grandparents when I was a teenager 14 or 15...All in preperation for the little blue lady holding the pink flowers. She is a little china bell about four inches high. She was passed down from my great grandmother (Nana) to my Grandma Unk then to me. We all had October birthdays and I am the last girl in the line! The little gold bell lady in front has been mine since I was little. It was the bell we used if we were sick and needed Mommy to come check on us!!
Enjoy all the other Pink Saturday goodies!

Halloween!

With everyone showing off some of their cute Halloween decorations I thought I could show some of my favorite ones!
This on my entry dresser. I got this cool old dictionary a few weeks ago and love it here!

I just love this little spider's face. He came from Michael's last year.

This is in my kitchen over the stove.....no liver here!

Now these spider window clings....

they are on a number of windows and I double take every time I see them!

This is on my desk. Isn't the black cat candy pail too cute? The green guy is a sparkley Frankenstein but it is hard to tell in the picture! Have to have something fun to look at while I create!

There is a tall pointy bird house under this fuzzy witch hat to keep the point up straight. And in the background another of my flying pigs, this one is a gargoyle. Approprite for Halloween don't ya think?

But...This bat is my favorite and will be handled with care forever!

My son's handprints from last year! Isn't he the BEST!!

Happy Halloween!

Not sure where I am going to put it but......(my husband thinks its ugly)And finally.....my personal haul for my crafting/decorating pleasure. Too much fun!

The apron pattern I have plans for, and I even got a menswear pattern, which is rare. A clipboard, scarf, star ornament and haunted mansion cookie jar for halloween decorating. Hope you all had good junking weekends! Bye-Bye! Jenny

Pink Saturday!

A gift for you this Pink Saturday!
Cute vintage pink card from Suzanna's Antiques that now resides on my Red Bulletin Board.
Here is my contribution to Pink Saturday!

This little childrens cup and plate sits on a shelf in my kitchen. I have a little boy so he never used this, but my mom did. This was hers growing up and since my kitchen is the same color blue as the letters, she gave it to me to display. I am assuming it is "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and her little pink dress is too precious. Head over to How Sweet the Sound and check out all the other "Pink Ladies" and their wonderful blogs!

Have a great weekend!

New Friends and Feed sack Friday

I was very lucky that Mom and Anna needed me to watch Suzanna's Antiques yesterday as Stacey from Flotsam and Jetsam and Stacey from The Blessed Nest decided to meet! What better place to meet then Suzanna's Antiques!

Stacey, Jenny and Stacey

Please check out both of their beautiful blogs!

Also, I promised Oodles and Oodles a picture of this feedsack outfit last Friday. She has pictures of beautiful feedsack fabric and when I told her about this she wanted to see it. Maybe a good Halloween costume?
